Adirondack Mountain Club
The Adirondack Mountain Club is a non-profit organization that aims to protect and responsibly use the New York State Forest Preserve, parks, wild lands and water for recreation. Leave No Trace
The Center for Outdoor Ethics has compiled 7 principles that teach people how to be responsible outdoors. While TLS participants are not doing a serious backcountry trip they will be camping out along the way and should follow the best practices.
