We have tons of programs for youth groups. All of our programs can be tailored to fit your group's needs. We can do as much of the planning as you want - all of it if you need!
Our programs are primarily designed to strengthen relationships between individuals, between children, youth and adults, between guests and staff, and between people and the environment.
The Berkshire Outdoor Center's Programs for Youth Groups can be summarized in the following packages. Please choose the package that applies best to your group:

- Youth Outdoor Education Program
Similar to our Outdoor Education programs for schools, the Outdoor Education Programs for Youth Groups emphasizes team work - effective communication and leadership, sharing, assisting and giving. These programs utilize teambuilding, low ropes, adventure and recreation activities. This is our second most popular program for youth groups. (more)

- Youth Leadership Development Program
These educational programs for youth groups emphasize teamwork, cooperation, communication and leadership skills, through physical, mental and emotional challenges and risk-taking. These activities take place in a cooperative, community environment and emphasize the relationship between self and the group. This is our most popular program for youth groups. (more)

- Design-Your-Own Youth Group Retreat
This option is for youth groups who wish to mix-and-match, using activities from various programs and tailor them to fit the group's needs. All activities are on the table, and organizers can choose from activities under Outdoor Education, Environmental Education, Adventure Recreation and Leadership Development. (more)

- Facility Rental for Youth Groups
Whilst the majority of youth groups that attend our programs like to participate in our activities, occasionally we have groups that just need a facility to meet and run their own workshops or meetings. Our facilities are fantastic for this, and are definately available for youth groups to use for such meetings and workshops. (more)

- Girl Scout Badge Weekends
The perfect opportunity for your troop to complete those hard-to-do-on-your-own badge requirements. Our well-staffed facilities here in the Berkshires provide the perfect opportunity for your troop to get that badge! (more)
