Berkshire Schools - Staff Retreats |
As part of our commitment to our community, we are offering full day staff retreats for all schools located in Berkshire County, free of charge. We believe that holding staff retreats in our magnificent Dining Hall and Arts Center will encourage local schools to become more involved with us, and will provide us with the opportunity to share our magnificent facilities with our community.
Our full day offering includes a fantastic lunch, complete with our extensive salad bar, beverages and dessert.

Three Options |

Option 1 - No Programs
Free of Charge
One day retreat utilizing our facilities for meeting space only. You can commence your meetings as early as you need and finish as late as you wish. Lunch is included. We can provide any audio visual equipment, flip charts, whiteboards and markers, digital projectors etc.
- Option 2 - Some Programs
Free of Charge
One day retreat that combines your own workshops (run by you) with some programming run by us. Options include two 2-hour sessions of teambuilding, leadership development, utilizing any of the following: Low Ropes, High Ropes, Alpine Tower, Indoor Climbing Wall, Outdoor Climbing Towers or regular teambuilding ground initiatives. Some of these initiatives would be great for your teachers to take back to the classroom! Lunch is included. We can provide any equipment for workshops.

- Option 3 - Overnight Stay
Minimal Fee to cover costs of addiitonal meals and accommodation
We can run two-day retreats for your teachers to get a full experience of teambuilding and leadership development. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day, and an overnight stay in our lodges or cabins can sometimes provide a fantastic opportunity for staff to bond and learn a whole lot more about each other than they ever could in the school setting.

For Us: - An affordable, quality opportunity to contribute back to the community that supports us.
- By hosting local community members that work in schools, we are teaching a significant group of people who are dedicated to working with children the value of outdoor (experiential education) and this may provide us with an opportunity to serve kids from your schools in our Berkshire Outdoor Center programs, our summer residential and travel programs and our Summer Day Camp in the future.
- An opportunity to see more participation in our Berkshire Youth Leadership Mentoring Vocational Program and our J-1 Trainee Community Outreach Program.
