B'nai Mitzvah

The Berkshire Outdoor Center is proud to host several Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah celebrations annually. Our role in the event is usually limited to hosting the family and guests. Much of the planning is done by the family of the Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah.

Kosher-Style

Our Food Service is excellent, and our fantastic chefs are able to prepare gourmet Kosher-Style meals in our beautiful Chimney Corners Dining Hall. All the items in the meal for the B'Nai Mitzvah celebrations are certainly approved Pareve, but we refer to the meal as Kosher-Style, as our kitchen themselves are not Kosher, only the ingredients that make up the meal.

  • The Activities - Our activities are kid-centered, meaning that they are designed for kids. They are also kid-tested - all year long we have thousands of children do these activities. THEY LOVE THEM! What better place to bring all your friends than camp? The activities are outdoor, healthy and active. We have archery, campfires (with S'Mores!), ropes courses, climbing walls, nature hikes, canoeing & kayaking, swimming. (View the Complete Activity List). The best programs are always when the Bah Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah gets to choose the activities himself/herself.
  • Year-Round Opportunities - Our facilities are open all year-round (but tend to be very busy from June to September). There are plenty of opportunities for fall, winter or spring events, just call us to see what dates are available. 413 623 8991.

  • Value-For-Money - B'Nai Mitzvah seem to be getting extremely expensive. The price of our programs includes all meals, facility rental, accommodation (if necessary), programs & activities, and is probably the most affordable option around!.
