Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA has just completed the installation of a brand new High Ropes Course at Chimney Corners Camp this fall. Thanks to the generosity of Justin Hillenbrand, Board of Trustees, the summer camp and year-round operation can now benefit from these additional High Ropes options.
As a result of this installation, BCCYMCA is now home to the largest, most comprehensive Challenge Course facility in the North-Eastern United States, with over 60 combined low and high elements.
The new High Ropes Course is a double-storey "stacked" course built by John Lazarus at Northeast Adventure (Winsted, CT). It is unique in design, many of the elements newly conceived ideas not seen before in Challenge Courses.
BCCYMCA Challenge Courses & Challenge Course Policies, Procedures and Inspections are certified by ACA, ACCT, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety.
