Family camp events are ideal opportunities for families to enjoy a quick getaway, try a new challenge, meet other families, and savor a relaxed atmosphere and excellent food- all in a setting unmatched in natural beauty. Each event features a central theme and offers activities that appeal to all ages.

  • Hearty and nutritious meals are served family style in our spacious dining hall. We do all of the cooking and dishwashing!
  • Families are assigned a cabin of their own, or in colder months, a room in one of our winterized lodges.
  • Age-appropriate activities are built into each day's schedule.
  • Special evening activities are held each night to bring families closer together.
  • All program activities are included in the fee.
  • Participation is at your own pace and of your own choosing.

Memorial Day Family Camp
May, 2005

Come delight in the spring season at Chimney Corners Camp. Families will enjoy a relaxing weekend with a variety of activities for all ages. Nature, crafts, canoeing, kayaking, climbing tower and swimming are some of the activity highlights. This program is ideal for families with a new camper at our summer camp program, as an introduction to the camp. Families participating in Memorial Day Family Camp stay in the modern lodges at Chimney Corners Camp.

Fall Foliage Family Camp
October 8-11th, 2004

This weekend sees Camp Becket at it’s most beautiful when the foliage reaches it’s peak. Enjoy the season by participating in traditional fall activities; carving pumpkins, pressing cider, and sitting by the fire. Activities such as canoeing, kayaking, ropes course, archery and climbing tower can be enjoyed as well. Housing for this program is in Camp Becket’s rustic cabins.

 

           

Labor Day Family Camp
September, 2005

Join us for a fun-filled relaxing weekend at beautiful Camp Becket. The season is just right for activities on the waterfront, like swimming and boating, or archery, climbing tower and crafts. Like all family camp programs, participation is at your own choosing, and special programs will be arranged throughout the weekend.

New Years Family Camp
December 29th 04–January 1st 05

Make your New Year’s celebration a family event! Escape to the Berkshires for 3 days of family fun and recreation at Chimney Corners Camp. Crafts, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and ice skating are just some of the activities offered. A New Year’s carnival and celebration are a perfect ending to the holiday season.
