We offer two unique day camp programs, Explorer Camp, a full day program for children ages 6-12, and Discovery Camp, a half day program for children ages 3-5. Both programs meet at the Lane Farm, and include swimming, arts & crafts, games and more!

Discovery Camp offers a half-day experience for pre-schoolers. The activities include circle time, story time, swimming, arts & crafts and more. Discovery Camp is a great introduction to a full-day summer camp program!

All staff are chosen for their maturity and experience working with young campers. Staff are college-age adults and older, possessing a positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm. Each day camp staff member attends a week long training prior to the camp season.

Family Night

Each session will host a Family Night where families and campers are invited to join the day camp staff for an evening of entertainment and fun! Enjoy a cookout potluck dinner, visit with the day camp staff, meet other families, and catch the spirit of the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA Day Camp.

Before and After Camp Care

The day camps offer both pre-camp and post-camp care. Trained staff will provide supervised activities for the campers. Registration is necessary and must be made in advance due to space limitations.

Parent Information

A confirmation packet will be mailed upon receipt of the completed registration/health form. Each packet will include general information with necessary forms that must be completed and returned prior to your child’s attendance at Day Camp.

All children must bring a bag lunch each day that is clearly labeled with their name.

The YMCA will provide a morning snack with milk for Discovery Camp and an afternoon snack with milk for Explorer Camp.
