Food Service
Our Food Service Director is Shaz Atwell who, along with her carefully selected staff, produces more than 12,000 meals each summer. International support staff, as well as students from culinary arts schools like Johnson & Wales University, provide a rich and varied dining experience.
Campers enjoy a variety of kid-friendly meals, including favorites like pizza, pasta, and chili. Whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruit, and lean protein are incorporated into every meal. A salad bar, cereal bar at breakfast, vegetarian option, and peanut butter & jelly are always available. Meals are served family-style, and the staff will always work to accomodate allergies or diet needs. |

Medical Facilities
The Camp Becket Infirmary, also known as Kenjockety, is located near the center of camp, across from the Aides Field. Three full-time registered nurses and one pediatrician, shared on-call with Chimney Corners, staff our medical facility. Mealtime medications are distributed at the dining hall and infirmary, as needed. Sick-call generally takes place after meals, though a nurse is always available to treat the aches, pains, and skinned knees that accompany most campers' time at Becket. They're also particularly good a providing just the right amount of TLC for first-time campers. Our long affiliation with Quincy Pediatrics enables us to provide this unique service to our camping community.
