Read information on the Lakota Sioux as recorded by members of the Louis and Clark expedition (1804 - 1806).
This site focuses on KILI radio and the Porcupine Clinic, two operations built by lakotas that support the community. They serve Pine Ridge, Cheyenne River and Rosebud Reservations.

The Center for Outdoor Ethics has compiled 7 principles that teach people how to be responsible outdoors. While REACH participants are not doing a serious backcountry trip they will be camping out along the way and should follow the best practices. Take a look and become familiar with the principles before you arrive at camp.
