Travel with Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA on our premier Adult Program to Peru and experience more than an average tourist trip. Revive old connections with camp alumni and families and forge new friendships with Peruvian YMCA community members. Led by three time TSP trip leader and New Zealand program partner, Lee Vaughan, participants will spend their days doing service work in the community and visiting Peru’s unique cultural sites. Visit a YMCA funded orphanage and get your hands dirty building a much needed medical facility in a Lima suburb. At night join a Peruvian cooking class, learn to salsa dance or enjoy a dinner out in Cuzco or Lima. Participants will come home with an increased sense of community among fellow travelers and our international partners as well as a greater understanding of the service work our teens complete each summer.
