David Smith is dad to two Chimney Corners Campers Laura and Julia and Camp Becket Camper Charlie. A graduate of Carleton College, University of Chicago and Harvard Law School, David is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for The Mutual Fund Directors Forum (MFDF). MFDF is an independent, nonprofit organization that serves the independent directors of U.S. mutual funds by providing educational and outreach programs and the opportunity for directors to exchange views with one another, other industry participants and regulators.
David also serves on the boards of Illinois Tool Works, Inc. and the Northern Trust Corporation and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Carleton College.
