Judy never had a summer camp experience herself as a child, so witnessing the significant and positive impact of Chimney Corners on her two daughters' lives has been a revelation for her. She volunteers for the board because she recognizes the power of a safe environment in which children and young adults can learn to be independent. And in fact, camp has provided Judy some opportunity for significant growth as well. A trip down the zip-line on a Moms' Weekend visit taught Judy a lesson in conquering her own fear of heights and taking on a challenge-all with her daughters' positive encouragement. Judy is an estate planning lawyer with the New York law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLC.
